I think because he took the gold by himself and put himself first, I don't care, I think it's amazing that he won.i don't know. i think that it's cool that he won a gold!

I don't think people are hating on him--its totally awesome what he did and I commend him for it! I just wish he wasn't so flippant; like in the interview the other night he totally made that reporter feel uncomfortable and dryly answered the questions (if you wanna call his one word replies answers..). And the stupid conflict between him and the other American skater (cant remember his name)? Ok, TOTALLY childish of BOTH of them! I mean--GROW UP! No, people totally aren't "hating" on him; I just think for someone who just won a gold medal for the first time, he had a funny way of showing it. Kudos to him; but he needs to show more appreciation and respect towards others, especially since he's representing the United States of America.
