Can i ride a size 163 snowboard if i am 6'3 and weigh about 220 with a size 13 boot?

If not, what size would you recommend? does the 3 or 4 cm difference really make a big difference when it comes to actually snowboarding?

Yes, you would want a 163, thats what I have and I'm 6'3"

Burton vs. K2 snowboards?

You aren't going to know if you can ride something until you try. It will probably be pretty good, but it might be al ittlshort, so go for that if you want a board more for parks than for back country and powder boarding. If you are the oppsite go for a little bit linger like a 166, but stop at 166 because any longer will be slightly harder to manage and will make snowboarding less fun for you. And the few cm does make a big difference. I started on a 138 and I grew 4 inches the next year and got a 149 for Christmas. I went up on the mountain and had a really hard time picking up where I left off because even though I got bigger, I was used to a shorter board. The different lengths depend on your riding style. However, you'll be pretty comfortable on a 163 regardless.

How do you learn butter tricks on a snowboard?

The size of the board that you want depends on your skill level and the type of riding that you will be doing. I am 6' and weigh 180. I ride a 165 wide because I have big feet and I enjoy deep powder. The longer/stiffer that the board is, the harder that it is to turn. Find a board. Spray-paint it camo. Carve it up!

I want to learn how ski, is anyone know where to go?

yes a 163- 165 is an ideal size board for you. 3 to 4cm doesn't matter to much if your a beginner. If your intermediate to advanced it doesnt matter at all. I am 6', 170lbs, the ideal board for me is a 159cm (which i really like) but my smallest board is a 131cm (huge difference). it just matters how good you are.
