Answers:
Personally though, I think they are great for people who have never been skiing but know how to rollerblade and/or ice skate pretty well. I was able to take my friend who had NEVER even been on a bunny hill on skis in his life up to the top of Vail, CO with a set and he was able to go down every run I took him down (including a couple of blacks).
Basically snowblades is a great name for them because they are like skates for the snow, with where your center of gravity is and everything. Since my friend has been a speedskater all of his life, he had absolutely no problem making the transition from ice to snow using snowblades
So ya, snowblades can definately be fun
Do you mean a snowboard? dude where do you come from?
oh well no thanks dude..i think i'll stick to snowboarding!
Can someone help me with my sit spin?
I know what you mean man, I love snowboarding or pretty much anything that slides down a snowy hillI would love to become a snowmobile racer. But what do I have to do to get started?
Yeah I know what snowblading is and on my hill you get laughed at. If you want to try something fun go telemarking.I have 4-sale, four snowmobiles in perfect condition in oregon, any takers?
I have skied all my life (30 years on snow now), and have tried blades, a 4-man ski (4 sets of bindings on one huge pair of skis), snowboards, and even one of those sit-skis that people who are paralyzed would use (just for fun, to see what they had to deal with).Oh, and I can telemark and I use AT gear to access the BC.
I just include my qualifications because you seem to think nobody knows anything about winter sports. Well, I do. I hate blades. No offense. They are slow, and you have little control over them compared to skis. True, people can do some pretty neat tricks, but that's about all they are good for.
