What is the Best way to introduce your kids to Snowboarding and where?
i am asuming you have had no previous skiing and/or snowboarding experience before.? if you have strong legs, then skiing might be good for you. in skiing you use your legs a whole lot more then in snowboarding. i would recommend skiing. but you could always try both, too.So anyone have any competitions coming up?
Yes, try both! There are some awesome slopes here. Enjoy your visit! Why do figure skating competitions require non vocal music?

Try both I agree but ski are easier to learn before snowboarding. Thats how I did it.i think u should try snowboarding because it great to learn something different and adventurous
What are some good snowboarding movies?
If you are planning a day trip to one of the ski areas you can try both. Most of the rental shops at the ski areas will allow you to rent either ski or snowboarding equipment and exchange it for the other later in the day. My son has done both and says that skiing is easier to learn but the snowboarding is more fun.Where is the best place to go snowbording?
yah im from Durango, check out Wolf Creek or the Aspen Highlands.skiing is easy to learn 1st day hard to get good at.
snowboarding is hard to learn 1st day easy to get good at.
skiing takes you faster.
snowboarding frees you up. (no poles)
have fun and come back soon.
Why does my ski "hook" when I am telemarking powder?
that depends, if you have ever skateboarded or surfed than you will probably do alright snowboarding. If you have never done either of these then you should ski because you will not be in as much pain at the end of the day.well that is a tuff question because if you go up to the mountains a lot i would say try snowboarding because it takes a while to learn but once you do it is amazing and has no limits, but if you are just going up a couple times every winter i would say ski because it is a little easier to pick up and a little less painful.
Start you skiing, THen snowboarding, more challenging
