Is a Ride snowboard, bindings, boots, helmet, goggles for $150 a good deal?
My friend is going to give me an old Ride Liquid snowboard (I think thats the model), oxygen boots, oxygen strap on bindings, a helmet and goggles all for $150. The board comes up a little lower than my chin and Im about 130 pounds, Im kinda a begginer to snowboarding.

i hired all my snow stuff for 40 pounds, no idea how many $ that is but if you figure it out it might help you. By the way try ski ing, it rocks!look at the boots/bindings make sure they still clip up properly and stay clipped. otherwise go for it. but try skiing - more control and you dont sit on your bum for so long.
What do I have to consider when trying to buy good skis ? Beside the price ...?
yeah good ,you dont want to start off on bad equipment, i dont expect your freind will sell you rubbish.I want to move to the mountains this winter, where should I move?
Just make sure everything fits and the cap around the board isn't starting th split. Check the binding bases for cracks and the helmet for ANY and I mean ANY type of impact evidence. Seriuosly take a lesson at the closest mountain befrore you go out, can't even stand up, and get discouraged. It's WAY better than skiing, and don't let nobody EVER tell you different. You get good on a board, and you'll score tons of babes.thats a good deal if everything is in good condition. but if hes a true friend he wont sell u bad stuff
Advice on xc skiing for beginners?
Go for it! You could also pay 150 Euros just for helmet and goggle! So if something of those things doesn´t work anymore, go and buy a new one, the rest is still cheap! Know what I mean?Greetz from Austria!
