What are the best all around skis for an intermediate to very good skier?
I've looked at the Volkl AC3 and last years EXP. Are there any other skis I should be looking at?

volkl has great skis, very springy for a stiff german style stick. i prefer the 5 star as an all round ski for many conditions. it may be important to decide where you'll be most often skiing though. is the snow usually dry groomed off piste heavy and that sort of thing. this will help answer what waist you should primarily look at. also your weight height skiing style. see a pro where you do most of your skiing, pick her brains and then decide later based on the many factors outside of whats in their shop. also look at sierratrading post for deals on ski packages. i know they were offering a great pair of rossi carvers for about 500 bucks.Who makes the best ski and snowboarding goggles?
