Which ski bindings should I buy?
I've just bought some Salomon teneighty thrusters and now need to get some bindings. Can anyone suggest some good ones? I am a fairly adventurous skier, but am more into speed than tricks. All comments appreciated!

What's a good beginner's level snowboard for my 8 year old?
All bindings by major manufacturers are good. I tend to like Markers or Salomons. I think those are the best.Check the DIN setting window to get an idea on the performance the binding will afford.
A low or mid performance binding (for the rec skier) will have a DIN range from maybe 1 - 8, or 2 - 10. You probably don't want that.
When I purchase bindings, I always look for DIN settings that max out at least at 12, or preferably 14. These will be your higher level bindings, and give you a better range of settings...especially if you don't like your ski pre-releasing in the middle of a gnarly chute.
I'm not a fan of tyrolia, or looks, but I haven't used those brands for years...they may be better now than 15 years ago!

Should your hi-backs be centered with the edge of your board?
The Thrusters are more into jibbing than land (or air) speed records, so ordinarily you would plump for a nice pair of light bindings or something paired up from the ski manufactuer themselves, in this case the Z10.Personally I would not discount Look - either PX 12 Jib for jibbing or a mid-high range model for a bit more performance at speed. Look bindings are what has been powering modern Rossignol skis.
Does anyone know where they sell Quiksilver or Hurley shoes?
Stick with the Salomon Z10 B85. It's the binding that Salomon recommend themselves. And they should know! What ski school is recommended for 3-7 yrs old in the Salt Lake City Area?
