Snowboarding in Banff?
I just did a season in sunshine Village. Time of my life. I have been heading out to the rockies for 5 years and have never been let down. Anyone else had good experiences working in the rockies??

Why are snowboarders not allowed at some ski areas?
Not the Rockies, but I worked 7 great seasons in the Sierra's at Lake Tahoe. That is the place to be. Soooooo much fun and such great mountains! Head west, you wont be disappointed.What size Nitro MFM Bandera snowboard is right for me?
I haven't been able to get to the Rockies to check out the slopes over there. I have been to Sierra@Tahoe. It was was great. I have been checking out the slopes in South East Idaho and they have some great places out here, the best being their newest resort, "Tamarack". Can't wait to hit the slopes again this winter.Peace Out for now and Good Luck on the Slopes.

I worked at Sunshine for 3 years(not seasons...I lived there year round when they used to open for the summer too) They starting to close for the summer because Ralph Scurfield made a deal with Parks Canada that if they let him open Goats Eye, he'd close for the summer to minimize the environmental impact. It was the time of my life! I worked in the Inn at night so I had all day to ski. I was there from 1987-90. The Calgary 1988 Olympics were a fantastic time to be there too! Brunos was our staff bar...discounted drinks.I lived in "L" building (beside the daylodge) The log cabin used to be where the HR and ski school dept were located (no bar there in my time) I watched Angel lift being built over the course of a summer...and we used to ski Delerium Dive when it was a huge no-no (just don't get caught!!) Best Banff places back then...Tommy's, The Eddie, Rose&Crown, Sidestreet, Banff Springs Clubhouse(old one).More Questions & Answers...
