Usually near late November. Most resorts definately try to open by Thanksgiving if they can, but Mother Nature has a lot to say about that, huh?

Here in Utah people are already in the backcountry...we just got hammered with a week of cold weather and two days of accumulation.

I'm gonna wait a bit. No sense in ruining my skis already!
