Just wanted to clarify something. Whistler is an awesome mountain. The terrain is unbelievable. But the snow is crap. Anything on the west coast (Washington/Vancouver) gets that "wet coast powder"...thick, potato stuff.

If you want better snow, think Alberta. I was a kid when I last skied Alberta though, so I don't remember anything except Mt. Norquay (spelling?)

tremblant is good, i went there in february, but it hit -30,-35. wrap up warm, also it is quite expensive, but great skiing conditions, if you are looking for great snow, no matter what the cost go to whistler.
