What are the best places to snowboard near Seattle?
I know about Mt. Baker, Snoqualmie and Whistler, but just wondering what your favorite is and why.

Snoqualmie has the best park and superpipe in Washington hands down. They have a huge night riding operation as well.Crystal has a lot of freeriding and is great after a fresh powder dump.
Stevens has great backcountry, and when the snow is fresh there a lot of drop-offs and mini cliffs that are great.
Whistler/Blackcomb is amazing, but it is far north and expensive. The nightlife is crazy too, so you can get a full day and night.
How does an LTD board compare with all the other popular brands?
Mount Hood Meadows by Portland, OR is not too far away. Good boarding and a killer $10 Sat night deal if its still going on.Mt. Hood Timberlines open almost all year round.
I love Mt Bachelor in Bend, OR but its a little further away from Seattle
Is it better to store skis upright or horizontal?
Crystal Mountain is not too bad. It has a lot of back country trails with LOTS of tree-line natural terrain that few people know about. That's where you will find me if you can keep up! :)Is Ice skating a nice hobby to adopt?
