wakeboarding is the closest you'll get to snowboarding, so do that if possible. skateboarding will help too. work on air awareness and grabs on a trampoline. strap in and hop to it. to get sponsored, first get good, then get video footage and photos and take them to local shops and try to get shop sponsored. take it from there.What do you think about Janica Kostelic?

Very carefully of course. NO seriously, see the photos on this site.Try taking small jumps, and then when that's to easy hit the bigger ones, then move on to maybe twisting or tricking out your jump a little. (If you want to really up your skills go riding for maybe a week with a 4 day pass. In those four days you will learn sooo much.)
