Should I get a 155 cm or 158 cm snowboard?
I am 5 foot 6 inches. I weigh 150 pounds. I am about an intermediate rider. I am 14 so I want a board that in a year won't be too small for me. I am obviously going to grow and I don't have the money to buy a board every year or two. Which size should I get? I am planning on buying the 2007 Burton Blunt.
Answers:
Get the 158 cms. board.
They only differ in one inch, but as you said, you are gonna grow still.
I don't snowboard, but I imagine that unless you are absolutely WORLD CLASS, 3 cm isn't going to make a difference discernable to you.

dude 3 cm doesn't make that much difference.Snowboard tuning Little help and advice needed?
short is better for tricks, long is better for speed, long is better for powder short is better for hardpack.I ride mostly hard pack and my general rule has been a little over shoulder-high, long enough for some powder, and small enough for the parks...
and if you are intermediate, it's easier/quicker to learn tricks on a shorter board.

Who measures anything in cm? How un-american. Anyways, bigger is better, go with the longer one.How can i practice figure skating when i'm not on the rink?
Up to your nose usually works best.. since ur gonna grow probly go with like up to your eyes or so.What is a snowboarding option?
I would get a 155 cuz i am almost 6ft and i ride a 158 but it really shouldn't make a difference. Also take into account what you are going to be using it for. Are you looking for a freestyle board...go with the shorter...if you are just looking at carving or all-mountain its fine to go with the bigger board.More Questions & Answers...
