Have you ever seen an eight-ender in curling?

Answers:

When will curling be on TV?

Depends. I am not sure what you mean by an "eight-ender."

If you mean a match played to only 8 of the 10 ends, then yes. When the scoring was high, the losing skip can call the end and forfiet.

If you mean an end where 8 points are scored, then no, I have never seen an 8 point end. I don't think it ever has happened in a true match, maybe in practice however. I did see a 6 point end, a couple of years back on ESPN, exactly 1 time and it was a fluke, the 3rd stone (a 2 point end) was bumped just enough to clear the 6th stone by a fraction of an inch and had to be measured to be sure. The guys on ESPN went wild in the commentary and they must have replayed the hits a dozen times in slow motion. A 6 point lead went to 12 points. The losing skip called the match because they would have had to score 12 points in the remaining two ends, which would have meant replicating that 6 point end twice just to tie...

Watch the movie, "Men with Brooms" for a good (and I think the ONLY movie to) look at curling. OK, so it really is a love story with curling as the sport, but it sure does show off the sport, and besides, the good guy gets the girl...

I fall of the lift every time... Any way to get better?

I never have. That must be some bad curling. The most I've seen is five and that was bad enough.
