I hate that..?

I hate that on tv everything doesnt look as fast as it really is, like hockey and drag racing and sking and stuff and you there going fast but you cant tell, and I really hate that figure skating looks so slow, but really there going so fast its crazy, I wish everyone could see every single sports event live at least once in there life, and like be ground level for figure skating to REALLY see how fast they are going and how high they jump, because I mean everyone knows that hockey and that stuff is fast but no one thinks skating is. This isnt really a question more just a thought

I'm new to figure skating.?

yeah it totally bugs me when during the olympics, they make the headwalls on the DH look like nothing. Also, cameras make it seem like the hill is less steep than it really is. When you are balancing on the edges of your skis to pose for a picture, and people look at it and say that the hill doesn't look that steep... it bugs me. Pictures/films just don't do justice to some of the greater mountains.

Don't forget how the tv cameras "flatten" the skier's course...the viewer has no idea how steep it really is! That is even more deceiving than the speed issue!
