In snowboarding, what is the best way to approach a handrail when you're getting ready to boardslide it?

Does anyone but me realize that the words "idiot" and "iditarod" are similar?

If you're just learning it's a good idea to line up with the rail well ahead so you don't have to worry about any last minute corrections.

You also want to make sure that you pop and spin your board the full 90 degrees while you are in the air.

Then just make sure that you stay flat based the entire time, keep your knees bent, and ride it out.
