What are the best places to snow-board for a beginner?
I live in the San Franciso Bay area and would like some place relatively close. I will travel more when I get more experience. Any hints?

What is the size of ski pants that say 36 on them?
I live very close to where you live. I live in San Jose. I would reccomend going to somewhere like Donner Ski Ranch as you begin because it is a very small and low key place and not just that, their lift ticket prices are awesome! I don't know how far is too far for you at this point, but the nearest snow is about 3 hours away. Dodge ridge is probably the closest i would think. Do a search on google for these places and check them out.I go to Kirkwood which is between 3 and 4 hours away and i love it, the only thing is a wouldn't reccomend it for a beginner because it's very hard terrain. You mostly have intermediate and advanced there. You'll see mostly blue and black diamond runs! But hey it wouldn't hurt to go there if your willing. It's just if i were you i'd start at somewhere like Donner Ski ranch...thats where i first started!!
Good Luck and happy Shredding!!
i can tell your a begginer cause its snowboard not snow-board. theres your first tip in snowboarding. go to a resort with green circle runs- they're the easiest. i dont know any specific resorts around there but before you go look at a map of the place and make sure there are runs marked with a green circle. these are the ones you should ride.
theres no looking back cause once you snowboard you wont wanna quit
Who holds the record for most Brier wins (games) as a skip?
The "Bunny Hill" at Heavenly in Tahoe. And rent the snowboard in town the day before if you don't own equipment. Much less expensive! And also, wear warm, WATERPROOF clothes!if ur a beginner i would suggest to rent one...inless ur 100% sure u really like snowboarding
