Michelle has not stated that she wants to retire. She also hasn't committed to competing next season. What she has said is that she's taking it "one day at a time".

As recently as last week, Michelle said that she doesn't feel that she needs to committ to anything yet. She's focusing on healing her current injury, and then she'll make a decision about whether or not she'll compete next season.

In my own opinion, I think that she may retire. I'm not sure that she's going to be able to overcome this injury. But she does love to skate and compete, so I wouldn't be surprised if she...surprised me.
