Who were the protopropov's?
FIGURE SKATING-PAIRS
Answers:
Ludmila Belousova and Oleg Protopopov are two pionners of figure skating. Russian born, they twice won gold medals in pairs at the Olympic Winter Games (1964, in Innsbruck, Austria, and 1968, in Grenoble, France). they invented the figure called the "death spiral" where the girl is almost completely parallel to the ice and the guy holds her hand and he pivots.
Incredible but the Protopopov's are in now in their 60's and they still skate together and perform their signature move in all their shows.
