When I was your age I was on the same level than you...and a year later I was working on my axel. Don't worry, everyone moves up at their own speed. I'd say your doing great, after all age is just a number! It isn't to late to become a competetive figure skater, chase your dreams..they may be closer than you think! Good Luck!Sking / Snowboarding in Scotland?
Sounds like you are doing fantastic and you should be proud of your self, But please don't let it go to your head. Stay with it dedicate your self And I will throw a pink rose to you for a command performance!!Does anyone know someone on junior level in figure skating?
Salchow and Toe loop are not in delta, i think you are more like freestyle 1.It's not too late for you to become a competitive figure skater, if that's what you want. You may want to look into additional skating options, such as synchro and dance. Dance classes would help improve your freestyle skating, and would help you improve more quickly than freestyle alone. Synchro would give you the opportunity to compete and advance very quickly in synchro, if that's of interest to you.

everyone is different. my friend has been skating since november 2005 and can already do an axel and layback spin etc. on the other hand, my cousin has been skating for 6 years and is trying to land her axel right now. so no it's not too slow or anything like that. i dont know how long it will take you to get to freestyle 5. there is really no way to tell. and by no means are u too old to become a competitive figure skater. adults who just started skating a year ago compete. no worries :-)Any tips for organizing a successful rail jam in a snowboard shop parking lot?
You are progressing averegally. Just keep working on it. Go whenever you have free time. I have been skating for a year and 2 months and I am in freestyle four. I am a fast learner and I go five times a week so you are doing pretty good! It is not too late to become a competitive figure skater. Just practice, practice, practice and take risks. Don't worry about falling on your one foot spin or salchow. If you are afraid of falling, you will never learn. I fall all the time, and then I get back up and do it again. GOOD JOB AND GOOD LUCK!! I HOPE THAT I HELPED!!~>>***(()Erika())***<<~
no way, you are actually progressing fast. wow you already had a compitition that early?!?! yes of course you can still become a competitive figure skater
Do you think that at the age of 12 and at freestyle 3 im to old to compete??
I WISH I WERE U. I LUV FIGURE SKATING!Is there a general website where one can see photos of the faces of skiiers on the world cup tour?
It sounds like you are doing well and progressing well in skating. I don't think that you are progressing too slowly, everybody progresses at their own pace, and their pace is what is right for them- it's just important to make sure to learn it right and try your best. It is not too late to become a competitive figure skater. I'm 14, and started skating when I was 10 and I have been able to competitive figure skating, and I have even taken almost two years off because of injury. Depending on the pace that you learn and progress at depends on how long it will take you to get to FS 5- it's OK if it takes you a while, and it's OK if you do it quickly. Good luck!who cares what these bums say? jk well keep up the good work and you could win yourself a gold!
How do i make a battery powered heating element (glove warmer) for my ski gloves?
That's progressing very well. You should be in FS 5 or 6 by the end of the year if you try really hard. And no its NOt to Late! I started at 11 years old and now I can do all of the double jumps and I'll be starting triples soon :) I'm 15 now by the way. You just have to be dedicated and practice hard !All i have to say is your doing a amazing job.
Dont ever ever ever let your skating go to your head, and never worry about whos better then who because it just ruined me. And it got so bad i had to quit my skating, and its the hardest thing i have ever had to cope with in my whole entire life. I HATE it. So no matter what level your at, never ever give up, just keep on going, and if you are ever wondering why you got yourself into skating, just think of how much you love it.
You are doing fine.
