On what date was the Men's 5k at the 2006 European Speedskating Championships held? It was postponed at 1445

This was in Hamar, Norway on Saturday, 14 January 2006. At about 1445 it was announced the Men's 5k was postponed to 1800 later that day, due to problems with the ice surfacing machine. I left as I didn't want to wait 3 hours. Was the 5k held at 1800, or did it wind up being postponed till the next day? I didn't return the next day, as I only had time for an 8 day holiday in Norway, it was the 1st time I have been to Norway. It was the 1st time I've ever watched speedskating in person, as I am from California.
