What is the skiing like in Italy?
The correct answer is Alta and Snowbird in Utah. Best lightest snow in the world. Plus they get more snow than almost any other resort in the US except for one or two in Alaska. Last year they had over 700 inches. Most other resorts get only 300 inches. Almost everyday is a powder day. Close to the airport (20 mins). You also have the option of skiing at 8 other resorts that are within 45 minutes from the airport. If you don't want to go to Utah then the other favorites would have to be Jackson Hole and Whistler BC. Don't waste your time in Colorado. Its not worth it.Snowbird hosts the freeskiing nationals every year so they have their fair share of steeps. Hands down the best skiing in the world.

It depends on what you want in a ski resort. My opinion on Colorado is too overpriced and too high. The altitude is really high which makes it harder to adjust to. My favorite is Jackson Hole and here are my reasons. 1. Very natural mountain-from the airport it's hard to tell it's a ski resort 2. Airport is close by to the resort. 3. Uncrowded compared to many resorts 4. Atmosphere is amazing 5. Base area altitude is arround 6,000 feet, much better than Colorado resorts. 6. Snow- Jackson gets dumped on in Jan. and Feb. face shots are common in these months. 7. View- as good as it gets, picture perfect scenery everywhere you look 8. Grand Teton National Park- fun place to spend an off day 9. Snowmobiling-many different guides and areas to choose from, less stringent age regulations than other states 10. Wildlife- you WILL see wildlife, skiing down a trail it's no t that uncommon to spot a moose off the trail.How well do p-tech candles work on fixing the bottoms of your skis?
