Please Answer ASAP! Are these good skates?

Question:I am thinking about buying the Jackson Glacier 120 Figure Skates. Does anybody out there own these or know anything about them? Here is the link to them...

Also, do they have a big enough rocker or should I go for a larger one? (I have a flat rocker right now and my toe pick drags ALL the time.) Thanks!

Answers:

FREERIDE or FREESTYLE,which one do u prefer ??

I'm also in the market for new skates.
I've looked at the Jackson boots and was very impressed with their products overall.
I'm not sure what kind of skating you are working on but this boot is best for basic skills. This boot would be best for someone working on USFSA Freestyle 1 or 2 and all levels under.
This is a great choice for a starter boot. It has a plastic molded heel, which is easy care. The ankle support is decent for the price.
I've never owned a pair of Jackson blades so, I can't really tell you much about them. Regardless of the rock of your blade, your toe pick shouldn't be dragging. Make sure you get your skates sharpened by an experienced person (the teenager at the rink is probably not a safe choice.)

Hope this helps,
Miche

I want to give you the definition of the word SPORT?

The Glacier series is for recreational skating. These are good skates if you go to public session a few times per month. If you do more skating than that, then you will need something else with more ankle support.

Burton Snowboards and which one to choose...?

I have owned the Glacier ones before, and they aren't super great unless you are going to be very recreational skating; like a few times a month. The other ones that you have are pretty close to the Glacier ones, and I would recommend going with a skate more like the Riedell Blue Ribbon (you can look at it here: http://www.riedellskates.com/ice/121.htm... )
or if you would like a better skate go with the Riedell PSA Medallion 200 which you can see here: http://www.riedellskates.com/ice/200.htm... or the Jackson Mystique http://www.jacksonskates.com/html/frames... I've seen all of the ones I listed above to be better for a beginning skater.

What happened to Peekabo Street? Where is she now?

The jackson skates are a good compain to go through i have the freestyle type of skate and they have lasted me 4 years.
