That it deports but is seen world-wide level?
yes, you can compete in freestyle 5-6. that is actually a pretty high level to start competing. YOu need to find the list of competion this year in your area and then download or send away for an entry form. There is an entry fee for each event you enter. you will need music cut to the proper length on a CD, a dress and proably a coach to help you cherograph your program. On the compotion's form it should tell you what are the reqired elements for youir level. Good luck. What are good ways to avoid getting stuck with a "wide" snowboard?
You need a private lessons coach to compete and help you choreograph a program. If your coaches aren't very competitive or if they're just group lesson coaches, you may want to get a new coach. And yes you can compete in freestyle 5-6, you can start competiting in the basic skills levels. To enter a competition, you have to get an entry form for that competition and fill it out with all the information and pay the competition fee and then mail it in usually about a month or more before the competition. If your coach isn't very helpful getting you what you want out of skating, then you need to find a new coach that will help you better. Your coach can help you to get your program together. You can compete at any level at all, even if you were still a snowplow sam skater. Check out the USFSA website, and there is a list of all the competitions. http://www.usfigureskating.org/event_lis...
Try that website, and it lists all the competitions in the country.
Which is better mt high or bear mt.?
first of all, do you have a private coach, or do you take group lessons where there may be different coaches every so often?if you have a private coach and they won't help you with competitions and getting your program figured out, you seriously need a new coach that will help you with stuff like that.
if you're in group lessons, you might want to ask around and find out if there are certified private coaches at your rink, and consider taking lessons from one of them. if you get a good private coach, they'll help you with competing and getting your program.
