Is burton really the best?
I wanna buy my first board, does burton really worth the money? Are Roxy snowboards any good? anyone know?

Actually, roxy snowboards used to be pretty crappy but they have improved a lot. They are made by Mervin which also manufactures Lib Tech and GNU so it's not like they are poor quality. If you're a beginner, sure burton makes some good boards, but if you like a roxy board there isn't really a problem in getting one because they do make some really nice boards. I've demo'd one myself this past summer and it was a fun ride.Where is the best place to buy a burton snowboard online?
Burtons are good but unless you're snowboarding competativly you don't need to spend too much on a snowboard. Height and syle are more important. I have had limited and liquid snowboards and both worked fine for me.Just don't cheap out on snowboard boots. It is really important that your feet are comfortable.

personally, if it's your first board, don't buy a burton. the only reason that they're one of the most expensive boards out there is because they're really nice but it's a pain in the butt that with they're boards you have to have their bindings. it's really nice to position the bindings almost anyway possible, but for your first board, just get a decent package somewhere for like 200-300 bucks because what if you end up not liking snowboarding at all?which brings me to a second thought. if you've rented a bunch of times and you really love snowboarding, i'd say go for it. burton's are really nice but so are k2's ; )

burton doo make some of the best boards there are out there but.there not the only brand that make awesome boards
i have been close to buying burton twice now
but both times ended up going for a k2 board
they just ride better for me
demo the boards you want first and see which rides better for your self

Burton isn't the best, they are just the most advertised. Nitro and Flow make some great boards. Roxy boards aren't bad. I suggest buying something money friendly and then upgrading as you improve your skills.Are you ready for the skiing season to be over yet?

Burton doesn't really specialize in anything, so they're good for beginners. I dont know about roxy, other than they make boards for girls.burton is really good and they are really nice. they have a variety of boards u can get from cheap to expensive. but there are also other obards people prefer. i like forum. morrows also pretty good since they are completely fiberglass boards but hey break easy. i wouldnt recomend k2 cause they specialize in sking not snowboarding. if i get a board i go fro the company meant for snowboaridng
