Snowboarding companies?
Question:What are some good companies for snowboarding gear? I am a beginner boarder, but good enough to get down the "bunny hill" while only falling once or twice (at the maximum). My parents want to buy me:
~board,
~bindings,
~boots
to save time and not having to rent. I need to know some good (and bad) companies for the above for a beginner boarder that aren't expensive. I don't need special features for things like jumps and tricks. Please help me so as to make a good decision! Thanks!

hey burton is not a bad company its just very expensiveif you are a girl i think you should goo for a k2 board
as they make awesome beginner too intermediate boards such as the k2 skyla . i have one and still ride it ocassionaly .
bindings i relli like butron for bindings
though make sure the straps and not dog legs like burtons last season as they dooo snap unlike the straight ones

What should i do to get fit for a ski-trip that will take place in 2 months?
Burton is the best.Burton boards, bindings, and boots are the best, but if you buy those make sure to get a bundle pack of all three. This will be cheaper. Other good brands are K2 and Salomon, but Burton really is the best and worth the money. One tip: when buying stuff, be sure to find boots you like before bindings, because you must be sure that your boots fit your bindings. Good luck!
dont listen to these people! burton is horrible. they are extremely expensive cheaply made and wont last you. my burton missions broke over 5 times. i have rome arsenals and havent had a problem with them once. why buy a burton vapor for $900 dollars when you can get a rome board for $500 that is lighter than the vapor, has a wood core so you can jib and is more durable, and is just better?
