Is Rossignol a Good Brand For Snowboarding?
Question:I used http://frostyrider.com/tips/size-guide.h... to determine what boards are suitable for me. They suggested a few Rossignol boards including Rosignol One, District, and Split Twin. I wanted to know if anyone has experience with any of these boards if they know if they are good quality? THey also suggested Palmer Pulse, and Santa Cruz Fusion.
Thanks!

Anyone going snowboarding SOON?
One thing that's probably just as if not more important than the brand of board is the type of board. Just like car companies, board manufacturers make different boards for different riding needs. Just make sure that you don't wind up buying a pick-up truck when what you want is a sports car is what I'm trying to say. I don't know anything about Rossi snowboards but the Split Twin sounds like it could either be a backcountry specific board or a twin tipped freestyle board. Either one would be very different from a board designed for freeriding or even jibbing. So make sure you think about the kind of riding you plan on doing and then compare across boards of that type. At the end of the day, most snowboards are so well made these days that it mostly comes down to personal choice. It's really tough to buy a board from a reputable company that's straight up bad.
Also don't forget about your boots and bindings. Finding the right ones for you can sometimes be more important than the board.
How do skaters learn to do jumps and can you learn to jump off the ice?
Rossignol makes good boards, but Lib-technologies makes better ones.I have a sky blue ski jacket what color pants would you reccomend??
For starters there is no better board than another. There is only boards better suited for you. All of the boards you listed are good, go talk to your local shop guys and tell them how you ride and listen to them not people that don't have any clue how and what you like to do.dont buy a snowboard from a company that makes skis.for these ski companys were not in favor of snowboards on the mountian back in the day...they just jumped on the bandwagon when they saw how much the sport grew and thrived...i cant stAND the thought of riding a SKI-company snowboard...do yourself and all TRUE boarders a favor...buy a Burton or a Sims...or a Barfoot instead.
