Where is the best place to ski in NY?
Going skiing next weekend for the first time. What is the best place to go in NY for a romantic BEGINNER ski trip in NY. Some people were telling me hunter? I want a place that is okay for beginners but has nice restaurants/lodging. etc. THANKS

Probably Whiteface in Lake Placid.Whiteface has a separate hill just for beginners and there are some great restaurants, hotels in Lake Placid and a lot of off mountain activities in the Olympic Village, such as skating on the speed skating oval, bobsledding, luge etc.
