Patience, it is easy once you get the hang of it, but you will fall a lot when you sart out, I started after I had skied seriously for three year and fell down about twenty times my first time, which was about a mile-mile 1/2.If you can afford it, take a lesson. Otherwise, try to go with a friend who knows how to ski. Make sure you stay on beginner trails (usually marked with a green circle). Enjoy the snow!
