Full wood core?
I have seen snowboards being advertised as a full wood core, to me this sounds like its an older board, which I don't mind, but will this increase chances of the board breaking?

No, they are saying they have full wood core to differentiate them from some really cheap cheap boards which have foam cores.If you buy a board made for your weight/height, you wont ever have to worry about breaking it unless youre doing something really extreme...
