No that I know of, it would be pretty hard to ice skate, and be blind, but you never know it could happen.
well there could be, but then i think thats pretty hard. and esp in dance its all edges and footwork, blades going everywhere, lifts too would be hard, not to mention dangerous
Would it be easier to land jumps and do ollies with a shorter or longer snowboard?

i think it is possible because if you are doing single skating and you know where the side of the rink is it should be fine. you would just need someone to tell you where to put your feet then it would be fine as long as the rink was empty. And there is a film about a figure skater that went blind but carried on skating its called ice castles so i think it is very possible. Also i am a figure skater and if there is a move that i cannot do he tells me to close my eyes and do it so i can concentrate on what my feet are doing instead of watching them and it sometimes works.Is it bad if u lift weights every day?
i don't think so. I mean it is possible, definately possible. But it might be kind of hard for someone who is blind to find someone who would trust them enough to be their partner. that would be the hardest obstacle that a blind person would have to hurdle to become an ice dancer but i'm no expertMore Questions & Answers...
