Where in Scandinavia should I rent a place for cross-country skiing this christmas?

Question:Hi...

I'm looking to rent a villa for winter 2007 to go cross-country skiing from...what I'm looking for is a) recommendations of places, and b) recommendations of good websites or services for villa rental?

Thoughts so far:
- We know Norway a bit and it's great, so that's probably top of the list.
- Somewhere not too far from a city or some kind of nightlife would be preferable.

Any ideas?

Here's a good place in Norway called Hemsedal. There is a villa there and fair snow, but I don't know about cross-country skiing. You should check up on that.

Im want to buy a snowboard this year but don't know where to start. Any tips on what to look for, what size?

There are many places to ski in Scandenavia ive listed some of them below.
Norway - Geilo, Hatjell, Hemsedal, Kvitfjell, Norefjell, Voss
Iceland - Akureyn
Sweden - Arejallen, Bjarsas, Bydalen, Riksgransen, Salen, Storlien.
Ive never actually skied myself in Scandenavia so i can't recommend anywhere percific but all the places listed above are worth checking out.
