Transporting a Snowboard?
Question:I don't want to buy a carrying case, but want my board protected. I'm going on a ski trip and they drag a cube trailer behind a van, it's going in that cube.
I also don't want it to look gangster, ie: wrapping it in bubble foam.

getting a bag is probably the best idea. not only does it protect your board, it also protects other things FROM the board.i understand your situation with not wanting a carry case. i guess most importantly you want to cover the head and the end of the board with some sort of cloth.
im pretty you spent some dough on the board. just make another investment and get a bag. its probably the best idea.

A padded snowboarding bag only costs $30 at Big 5. If you have a big 5 or Sports Chalet near you. Or you can get a cheaper non-padded bag for ~$15. And put socks or dirty laundry on each end of the snowboard. If it's going in that trailer, and cost is an issue, the non padded bag will work find.If you ever fly with your board, I'd get the padded bag.
