Snoboarding lessons for beginners?
I would like to go snowboarding with 2 other beginners. It’s expensive and I don’t want to spend too much money because some of my friends may not even enjoy it so I don’t want them to pay too much- also we don’t own any equipment. That brings me to my question. I was wondering what kind of lessons I should take. Would I be okay with just an hour’s lesson for beginners or should I register for a package that offers more lesson time? I mean how many lessons should I take before I can go down the hill comfortably on my own? I BEG FOR YOUR ADVICE!

Where can i get really good figure skates very cheap?
Everybody learns at a different rate. It is always a good idea to get as many lessons as possible. A one hour lesson won't really do much for you unless you are a fast learner. The only way to get good or comforatable at snowboarding is with practice. To save money, I would try the one hour lesson and practice on my own for the rest of the day. The most important thing is to have a consecutive day to practice what you learned the day before. WIthout the following day, you will leave the first time very frustrated. You need to process and practice new information.Getting mud and grime off of my white snowboarding jacket?
well it depends on how eager you want to start getting down a slope. If its your first time ever with no experience even with a skateboard or a surfboard, than it will be worth it to do the beginners package. If you just want to learn the basics than just go with the 1 hourIf you had the money, the knowledge and the time.?
i would definitly reccomend getting the package with more lesson time. The beginner stage to snowboarding is by far the most difficult stage, and as much help as you can get is crucial. Even i still take lessons, and i am a very advanced snowboarder; and i do it because you can always fine tune everything. as a beginner i highly reccomend getting as much lesson time as possibleNancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding Movie?

Do you think the musical pieces from Carmen & Ravel's Bolero are overused in figure skating?
Most mountains have the lift-rental-lesson for like 70 bucks. Somehow usually the lift and rental cost that so the lesson is like free. My brother and I never took a lesson and could go down within a couple hours..The best way is to learn by trial and error, unfortunately that means falling...alot. Some things you need to know though are how to get off the ski lift, find a lil hill and practice going down it with one foot in the binding and the other on the stomp pad before you even go down the beginner slope..Also dont go fast, you'll catch and edge and go flying..Take it slow and first learn how to turn and stop..More Questions & Answers...
