How many figure skaters are on Y!A?
Question:I was just wondering, because when I first joined in November there wern't as many. Please answer if you are a SERIOUS FIGURE SKATER. Not a hockey skater or recreational, a figure skater. Also, can you tell me what level you're in?
P.S. Is anyone skating at Skate Aloha in Hawaii in March??

I am a figure skater! I have landed my axel and a couple of double jumps. I am on Pre-Juvenile and I am on a synchronized skating team! I love figure skating, and I have been skating since I can remember! I starting taking lessons a year and a half ago. I started out on basic 4. So if any of you people think your to old to figure skate, forget it your never to old! Just practice and believe in yourself!Can anybody tell me what is a stale fish? Is it because the board is pushed down on the rear end?
I started working on my axels when I was 7. Soon afterwards I moved and stopped taking lessons. I try to take lessons now and then, but it's hard to when I move about every year or so to a new country. I still enjoy skating and love teaching beginners. I'm hoping to start seriously taking lessons again in college. It was encouraging to hear from Hillary B that it is possible to become a good skater in a short amount of time!Help me choose between 5 boards and 3 bindings!?
I am an Adult Competitive skater in Canada and I compete in Open Adult 2. I'm currently working on my axel and double toe. Once I get all of my doubles back I'll be moving up to the Master's Division.Does anyone have tips for the Axel?

I am a serious figure skater. I have been out for a while because I had knee surgery, and my body reacted badly and ultimately I ended up with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome so I have been recovering from it, but I am planning to start skating again soon (as long as I'm able to). I was skating at high free skate and getting ready to finish up my Pre preliminary testing.Does anyone know an board that costs more than 1000$?

yes, I figure skate regularly & take lessons, but I don't consider myself a 'serious' figure skater because the main reason I skate is to have fun. (what other reason is there?) I figure skate, but not good, but trying to get better and more serious. I started when i was 10 at a camp, last year I was in Beta Now i'm in freestyle 3 with my coach learning single flips and single lupes.
