Flying sit spin?
I'm in open juvenile level and I can do a flying camel but flying sits are way hard for me! I have one in my program and mine is horrible. I can do it, I just can't seem to get my right foot to the front of me when I jump, instead it's out to the side. How do I get it to the front? And also how do I tuck my left foot better?

practise on the boards.between the doors. Jump into the sit spin position in the air by using the boards to help you lift yourself into the correct position.Its a great exercise I use with the kids I teach.
Also try waiting before you take off into your spin, your jumping too soon, that's way your free-leg is to the side.

bend your left knee a lot to make it tuck and just try to push everything together like you do regularly in a sit spin. try to straightin and stretch the free leg in front and you'll get it. practice it a lot and that will help too- on and off the ice.For me its opposite.
my flyimg camal is better.
for the flying sit i whip my foot around really fast.stay low.when i stay low my foot tucks better.
the one thing i do to make it good is keep my back straight.
take one thing at a time.

Might I strongly suggest practicing it off the ice? It really helps, and I would try slowly creeping yur foot up in front of you. Try to pretend to relearn the skill like it's supposed to be done.Good Luck!
