how come I can do small 5's, but sketch out and eat the landing when I try to go big?

BUYING a SNOW board?

its because when you try to go big you want to try to make the landing, where as the small jumps the landing is a piece of cake. Also on bigger jumps you have to have a different rotation speed to readjust to the hang time this causes most people to wipe out. (including me)

Looking for recoomendations on indian skiing resorts that are kid friendly ?

I am a snowboard coach at my resort... when i teach spins like 540's the biggest thing is comitment.. u need to throw your shoulders then your head... frontside is usally easyer. turn your head toward the way your goin the whole time... when u stomp it go in the lodge and the ladies will be all over you!

It's all psychological... I had the same problem when I was learning them. If possible, you should film yourself doing them. I noticed that I was hesitating for a split second which was slowing my rotation down quite a bit. Hope this helps.
