if the first layer is cotton and it gets wet then you will be cold for the rest of the day. I havent been snow tubing in so long but first layer is usually a tank top then a t-shirt then a sweat shirt then a jacket. You can always take layers off which i often did. with the pants i would go with long johns then reg pants then snow pants. wear at least 2 pairs of socks along with your boots and bring extra gloves because your gloves might get too wet and then you will want to change them. hats are always good too because you lose most of your body heat through your head and feet. A scarf depending how cold but i never wore one. Hope this helps.!
