im going on holiday next year skiing anything you would say i need to buy in addition to the skis and stoof cheers

I go skiing every Friday & Saturday at various places, and this is what i bring-warm coat
-Under layer sweatshirt
- Long Johns or long underwear
-snow boarding pants are better
-Wool long socks
-Beanie Hat
-Helmet
-Goggles
-gatorade
-extra money
-snacks
-phone
-IPod
It depends how cold the weather is for how many layers of clothing you need, listen to my advice, "If your too hot take some clothing off, but make sure you have enough clothes to put on if your too cold"
good pair of Snowboard pants (not ski pants...snowbaording ones have a better built butt in them), i like Rossiginal. A good jacket, Orange is a good co., but anything that you seem to like and is warm and light and breathable. Lots of pockets is nice. A good hat, good goggles (yellow for night, orange for a general purpose, red for day...i prefer to get polorized and use it the whole time,but their expensize as heck) A good pair of gloves and a hat is a must. Perferably gortex gloves with liners. Polyprophelene or smartwool socks are also a must...remember bud, COTTON KILLS!! Never wear it against you skin, or at all if possible.

since you can never predict the weather, just be safe and have multiple layers. 686 has a line called smarty that has zip in and zip out liners. you could look into those instead of buying thermals, but i always bring thermals with me when i go boarding or skiing. get a good pair of googles also. spy and oakley put a good lens in their googles. the cheap googles will fog up and ruin your day.So anyone have any competitions coming up?
