I have a trouble with the harness in figure skating?

Question:I like the harness and I it helps me on how to train my muscles to do jumps. But when ever I undo myself out of it my waist gets that feeling like the belt thing is still on and it kind of bothers me. Then it takes awile for the feeling to wear off and I can't land my junps right away.
I only tighten it as much as I need and don't think I could do any less.
Does anyone know how I can stop this or just ignore that weird feeling?

Also (my harness is connected to the ceiling) how can I set up for my jump properly so that I don't get to the end of the line or go too far away from it? I like to use ALOT of space.

How do I go about entering snowboard competitions?

O that does someimes happen to me but i found out how to resolve it! Wear your sweatshirt, no matter how hot you are and how sweaty or whatever just put it on, it helps. With the using a lot of space, it is much harder to learn your jumps when you use a lot of space.

Sking this january?

well harnesses kinda do hurt your gut because its basically pulling up on your rib cage and if you use the harness a lot it could make for a very tender belly. you really cant do anything about the pain though (as far as losening).. im going to suggest using the harness less, make sure you stay in line with the line, try not to get pulled up mostly by the other person.. and if all else fails.. take some pain killers lol... good luck, hope that helps!

I need a new snowboard for my valentine. I need a 156 to 158 women's board. Any suggestions?

It pulls on your stomach and rib cage, but I haven't found anything that helps it not hurt quite so much. I just have to learn to deal with the feeling or not use it as much.

What is the quality of Columbia winter jackets?

Well, The harness helps you land your jumps right? When you take it off, pretend it is still on. It will help you feel confident and you will feel good about the feeling. And as for the set up part. I am assuming the string/rope it is attached to is from one end of the rink to the other so start right near the boards so you have tons of room to jump and land without hitting the boards on the other side. Sorry if that is confusing! Good Luck!

Whats curling?

well maybe thats a good thing that it feels like the harness is still on because maybe you would jump higher thinking you still had it on I know I get that feeling too and I think my jumps are higher after I take it off cause I think it's still on me

You are going to get that weird feeling everytime you use the harness since you are using diffrent muscles to lift in the air with the harness try doing some waltz jumps when you get of so you can get your legs back under you!
