It's exactly the same thing that into the ring. They just have to play the script and some of them are good and some are not ...Anyway most of them are bad actors but no one cares because this kind of movies are made only for the money and not because of the talent of the actor ...

Rock was only a good "wrestler" was because he had great Promos...He wasn't that great in the ring.When your on a show that comes on everyweek, and you have to play to roles such as the ones they have. (storylines) You gain acting experiance.
Thats one thing people dont like about WWE is because they went mainly from wrestling to acting. The thing is, to make it belivable nowadays you need some acting to pull it off. I mean nowadays somebody runs in the ring and attacks somebody to start a fued people will be like "Man thats been done so many times now" Then they hate on WWE because they try to use clever ways to get a storyline rolling. Now i know this little rant isn't about the topic in a way but i think it should have been said :)
I'm not really surprised that wrestlers can translate themselves into movie actors and actresses. Think about it, when they are on a WWE show (or TNA) they are out there on camera at least once, if not twice a week acting and performing in front of thousands of fans at the event, and millions more watching it on TV.
There's plenty of acting experience right there. Every week you step in front of all those wrestling fans, you play a character, even if that character has your real name (such as Kurt Angle, John Cena, David "Finlay", etc.).

thats exactly what it is. Most of it, its like a soap opera for men. Thats what I tell my gf to try to convince her to watch it..she wont..she only thinks Jeff Hardy and John Cena are "ohhh sexy" but other than that she hates it :( lolI think WWE needs a bit more "wrestlers" that dont do much acting, sorta like Chris Benoit, hm...who else...Bobby Lashley, and a few others, since they seem to have alot of "actor wrestlers"

I think that the rock hhh and stone cold were good at acting however I thought John Cenas movie was ok but his lines seemed kinda cheesyi like rock's movies. .

Of course they are great actors. Who can forget Hulk Hogans Academy award winning portrayal of Thunderlips in Rocky 3 or 27 or whichever one it was. I havent seen a movie starring a wrestler yet that was worth the celluloid it was flimed on. Except for maybe the documentary on the Vachon brothers.

well, it's like this - they act. they fight. they diss. they act. it's what they do. they're used to it. it's their jobs. Wrestlers are entertainers. They entertain. who cares if some people don't like it? if u do, than u do. if u dont, than u dont. Cena's movie rox, The Condemed kix @$$, and so on...So, seriously, they are supposed to act. But in the ring, it's just different acting.

It depends on the role they play. So far The Rock hasn't missed with his roles, Cena did alright, Stone Cold was Stone Cold.Hogan, The Undertaker and Davey Boy Smith should never have done movies. (No disrespect to the late Davey Boy.) They just couldn't bring that extra something to film that they have in the ring.
And for the final part of your question: I'm always asked why I watch wrestling and my response has never strayed from this; Some females watch talk shows. Some females watch soap operas. Wrestling is a combination of the two and the cast looks a hell of a lot better!
