I love Wrestling.
a long time ago wrestling adminted it was an entertainment medium and not a sport in order to save on taxes to the government.
So it's real fake, not a sport at all.
Here's the thing.
1.) Wrestling isn't a sport, it shouldn't be considered one.
2.) As for Sportcenter, it's all about what they want to see.
I personally feel they should They show some good sports plays, and I think an extreme wrestling clip would fit in well. Something unusual, like Mick Foley off the cell for example.
I hardly ever watch Sportscenter but do they ever show things like stunt bike jumps?
Wrestling is pretty much like that. The guy plans a jump and then executes it. Wrestlers plan a match and execute it.
IF it's fake down to every match, then no, I think not. If SOME of the matches are real, then why not?
It's as legit as the NBA playoffs, so ESPN should bring back Kit from Cold Pizza to for the special highlights segment.

Should the Harlem Globe Trotters who play the same team every night, and travel and goof around be on Wild Word of Sports, and sports hightlight reels?Yes, because it IS A SPORT.
It depends on what you mean by "wrestling." If you mean the television programs and events put on by companies like WWE, then no... those are scripted sports events. They are entertainment programs that are written, performed, and copyrighted by large production companies. Let the WWE and other companies handle the publicity for their events. (Keep in mind, I'm not saying that the WWE isn't a real athletic exhibition or that the performers aren't doing very physical, real, and brutal stunts... but that's because of hours of dedicated training, practice, and rehersal. Check out http://www.wwe.com/ for more details on whether it's real or rehearsed.)
If you mean college, high school, and Olympic wrestling, then I absolutely agree that they should be. The sport of wrestling does not get enough publicity, and I'm glad that channels like CSTV and ESPN-U have started paying more attention to wrestling. In addition, mixed martial arts has become increasingly popular. UFC is gaining legitimacy as a competitive sport. Let's start talking about these things in the mainstream sports media.
