Question:across all brands, taking into account all the things that make a wrestler great (athleticism, mic skills, personality, physique) if you had to pick ONLY one, who was the best ever?
Please don't say Hogan, true he had the mic skills and personality and elevated the sport to a mainstream level, but his in ring skills were his only drawback, thus he is not the best ever. top 5 certainly, but not the best.

angle needs to be around longer. he has it all right now though. hbk has it over triple h because hbk is a fantastic face and a fantastic heel. triple h is best as a heel or as a tweener in dx.i gotta give the top spot to flair though, he has done it all and continues to do it all at 50 years old, even though he is only used to get younger guys over, his matches are still interesting. he was massive as a single, in a tag team, and as part of a faction.

This is a no brainer, its the Nature Boy Ric Flair, forget about John Cena, The Undertaker, Triple H, Steve Austin, The Rock and Hulk Hogan, these guys are a promotion gimmicks created by Vince McMahon and the WWE, .These guys are sport entertainers not wrestlers.
Flair proved in the 70s and 80s what wrestling was all about and didnt care if he got fired or not, he would defend the NWA world title outside the NWA because he felt that he wanted to wrestle the best no matter what organization that they were in . These guys today many of them who wrestle for Vince McMahon couldnt compete with those guys back them. because they woulnt have the skills to do so.Today its all about the chair,ladder and talbe crap, and all the inerferrence that goes on, that sports entertainment NOT wrestling . Let these guys today try to wrestle the greats of the past without all of todays gimmick.
It's Brock Lesnar for sheer power and talent. The others are all second string by comparison.
