Let me change that he is not even top 100. He was a drugged up boozed out, woman beating , jailbird. He died because he was on drugs as far as him being the best maybe to you but any one that knows the "sport" knows he wasn't close to a Thesz, Sammartino, Flair or any other "real" wrestler. He was one of the best. Always a fun person to watch. No matter what role he was playing, I've always loved watching him. He was and will always be one of my favorite wrestlers. We miss you Eddie!! sorry, i dont know cuz i never watched wrestling that time. i just started watching like 2 months agoHe's one of the best but I say Angle & Bret Hart are better technical wrestlers. As far as influential goes, Hogan, Austin, HBK, Flair Triple H would have to come before Eddie. Eddie was very entertaining to watch and is missed by a gr8t many people. RIP EDDIE!!

NOT ME!When are people going to realize that Eddie had too many personal problems that he could not control. Those problems not only lead to his death, but also lead to problems for his family. Eddie has been implicated in a steroids and performance enhancing substance ring in Florida. There is no doubt that he bought and used steroids and human growth hormones to get the body he had. And for those that are going to say that he used them for injuries, that is simply a ridiculous. He used them to help him get a bigger body so he would look better in front of the camera. In fact, medical science has shown that abusing steroids and growth hormones actually increases the chances for muscle tears and joint deterioration. Most doctors prescribed pain killers, which Guerrero has abused also by his own admission, and rehabilitation.
Not only did Guerrero abuse performance enhancing drugs, he also abused narcotics such as prescription drugs and cocaine. He admitted that himself. The coroner that performed the autopsy on him said that his excessive abuse of cocaine, coupled with the enlarged heart the was a by product of his steroid and hormone usage, caused his cardiac arrest. Also, during Guerrero's run with WCW, he was involved in an accident which resulted from his driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Fortunately he did not hurt anyone else, but he did lose significant time and money by getting hurt and having to go through extensive rehab and court appearances.
Also, along with the extensive drug abuse was his consistent adultery he committed while he was married. Again, this is by his admission. When he "found God," he went to his wife and admitted all of his affairs. Of course his wife "forgave" him, I guess she realized it was easier to stay married as long as he was working.
Now that he has died because of his own drug abuse, I wonder who is going to pay the bills? Sure, Vince let Vickie work in place of him to ease the burden of his sudden death, even though they both exploited his death on television. But, what happens when the money runs out? You see, all those drugs and women weren't free. He had to have spent a significant amount of his money of them which means he was not saving them for his children or his real family. That means not only are his children going to have to grow up without a father, but they will have to grow up wondering why their dad did all these horrible things.
Let's save the praise for the good people in this world. That does not include Eddie Guerrero.

Not to be disrespectful to the late Eddie Guerrero but he isnt even in the top 20 wrestelrs of all time... Eddie was only main eventing in the wwe for about 2 years but guys like Shawn Michaels,Triple H and The Rock have been doing it for the past 10 years and are still doing it...Who's backlash bootleg has audio? On stickam?
