If you ask me, there is no Point in having an ECW One Night Stand this year?
The first One Night Stand's purpose was to revive ECW for one night only and feature all of the ECW originals in hardcore matches and was completely uncencsored. Last years was ok except it featured a lot of WWE talent last year. But to have one this year after ECW has been revived and WWE ruined it really doesn't have a purpose. ECW One Night Stand is no longer as special as the first one was. There is no use in having it. It is not a One Night Stand because the "new" ECW is on every week. I dont want to see guys like Kevin Thorn, Elijah Burke, and Marcus Cor Von at One Night Stand, I want to see guys like Terry Funk, Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu, The Dudleys, though I know them showing up is impossible, Dean Malenko, and the bWo, compete in hardcore matches, not crappy singles matches with guys like Cena, Edge, and Randy Orton. WWE has ruined ECW and I think that is sad, ECW used to be awesome, now its just stupid. Stick to fighting zombies, aliens and Macho Libre.

This year ECW One Night Stand is just another WWE PPV which is why they moved it to Miami because they knew real ECW fans would riot if they came to the regular WWE show.you are right ecw has been ran in the ground by wwe. it is not what it use to be and i think once their tv deal with sci fi is done they will phase out ecw.

The new ECW is really bad I say, they have only got two or three real wrestlers, Bobby Lashely, CM Punk (my fav) & RVD, the rest are either rubbish (Elijah Burke for example) or past their prime.One Night Stand shouldn't be used anymore due to the fact that it was used to bring back ECW, now it's just useless and I say this... BRING BACK BAD BLOOD FOR 2008!
ECW has been killed by Vince Mcmahon... and I swear it's on purpose. ECW is so much better than the crap that's on now... Extreme Championship Wrestling is gone. the whole point of bringing back ECW is dead... the fans wanted to see that good ol hardcore stuff that WWE doesn't even provide... ECW has goddamn Vince as champ... it's dead... WWE killed ECW and i know they are happy about it
