Wrestling is scripted but dont believe its isnt athletic just the same... a lot of those physical stunts are dangerous and take a lot of physical stregnth and skill to give such a wonderful show. If you watch it live you tend to see its much more scripted as television and camera angles take out some of the more unbelievable manouvers. And just as others have stated when you have people moving at high speeds with tricky stunts... accidents do happen. But not all of the injuries are real. if you take a razor and make a shallow cut in your skin then hold it tightly for a minute it will appear that you dont have any injury. That is until you come into contact with it again. I have had two friends who became wrestlers. Not in WWE but Maple Leaf Wrestling which is a lower canadian organization and they gave me some of the secrets.

That question might piss people off who are wrestling fans because I asked somebody myself and so they was talking about how soap operas are fake so I think they are. They be having those story lines and they pump people up.
