I would take the same advantage ... Then I would be a sore winner and beat up Cena with the spinner belt , since he loves it so much ...Then I would destroy that TOYS-R-US product {once and for all} and get a REAL title belt .
Actually, *no*, no I wouldn't.
Why? Because if I were Edge, I'd realize that a) the last time I did this, I barely had the title long enough for Cena to wake up, and b) that if I show up on SD! there are likely going to be at least *two* guided missles with my name and number on them--that everyone else calls Matt and Jeff.
And this doesn't even count in how severe Ken Kennedy's injury is, ok? Yes, he may be out six months if he needs to get his muscle *wired* back together. Or it may well be six weeks if it merely needs stitches and "minimally invasive" surgery.
And the *weakest* link of the bunch, Matt Hardy, has already established a track record of kicking Edge's punkass all over RAW, right?
Look. I get it that Ken Kennedy was injured, and that WWE wanted a *heel* to keep the MITB case, all right? But the truth is, Edge has *already done this before*. It's a rerun. It's NOT good TV. If Edge were *half* the sports entertainer he thinks he is, he'd set aside his own ego and think of WrestleMania 24. As in, "how do I manage the case so that the *main event* does NOT get ruined?" Or at least he'd think of Summer Slam.geez.
In other words, if I were Edge.I'd actually try at least a little bit to set my *own* ego aside and think of what's good for the *business* in terms of upcoming main events. In other words, try to use the MITB contract in a way that actually produces a *match* instead of a rerun and *more* enemies.
(of course this assumes he had any say at all in the matter.chances are he was *told* to do this by the McMahons and offered a *large* paycheck for doing so. Odds are they saw the Kennedy/Matt Hardy match right before that injury, saw two guys go hard and fairly clean..and thought an Edge/Mark Henry main event would "work better", whatever the blue hell that means. O_O )
