YES.. Not only are they attempting to get all the WWE talent they can afford, and hire washed up has beens.. butNon Kayfabe: The NWA took back their belts at the end of the contract with TNA and refused to renew the contract because TNA started as Professional Wrestlers , with a champ that defended the belt in other NWA promotions, to becoming Sports Entertainers which the NWA wants no part of.
They are WWE wannabes.. hell they even hired Vince Russo who with Bischoff killed the product, before AOL/Time/ Warner buried WCW.
Nice talents but TNA is doomed to failure. The Pro Wrestling businesses oldest organization won't touch em and that says alot.
TNA represents our only real hope of competition to the crap Mcmahon throws at us. WCW had some great moments and a great run of victory over the WWF for over a year in ratings. Let's not talk about WCW like it was junk. TNA has done well to push their own talent with stars like AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Robert Roode. I think adding name value stars like Kurt Angle, Sting, and hopefully RVD and Jericho can only help the company grow. TNA is hear to stay and look for bigger things in the coming months starting with the 5th anniversary show in June.
TNA dumping the NWA was great for the company. Sorry, but NWA is old news. USing the NWA belts for the first couple of years served a purpose but now TNA has grown from bush league to big time so creating it's own identity is what is important. If you feel TNA doesn't "wrestle" you are blind to the recent event called Sacrifice 06. One of the all time great texas death matches occured on the show between Chris Harris and James storm. This match was an Instant classic. TNA is wrestling and the x divsion is about no limits and total nonstop action.

I don't know because i don't even watch wrestling anymore. WCW was my life and will alway will. Oh, hang on no actually TNA is the new WCW. So i guess i can say TNA is heading towards victory over the WWE. Look at their action now, Sting and Christian. The Stinger looks good and always will. He is still the same Sting as he was in WCW. Mike Tenae was the originator of WCW, and now has TNA, what surprises anyone that it would be any different? WCW ranked higher then WWE for 4 years in tv ratings, why can't they do it again?
