I don't think it'll ever happen. Vince just seems to think that ECW should be run just like every other brand, and will never bring it back around to even close to its original state, the one that its fans just loved so much. Plus, I've heard rumors that Sabu is just waiting until his contract expires, and will then be heading back to TNA, and is supposedly going to do this along with Rob Van Dam, who is also rumored to be heading to TNA. Also, it seems to me that they're grooming CM Punk to be the next ECW Champion, anyway, and plus, it seems Vince is really kissing his a**, because Punk's such a fan favorite right now, and he doesn't want to lose such a great, potential source for revenue. It never seemed to me Vince ever really liked or respected any of the ECW Originals to begin with, even the ones he brought into WWE when the original ECW folded back years ago. Think about it. Except for Tommy Dreamer, who seemed to constantly get s*** on, Vince would pacify guys like RVD and Rey Mysterio, giving them opportunities for top titles, like with Rey's World Title run, but then would pull the rug out from under them, and make it look like they're worthless. That's probably why he's been pushing the newer guys, and making guys like Balls Mahoney job almost every match to some of those newer wrestlers. Sometimes, I just hate Vince McMahon, and would just love to punch some teeth out of his mouth for what he's done to wrestling in the last 7 years.Are you going to watch BACKLASH!!?

I 'm not sure if he is the next ECW Champ, because I don't think they'll make him win it off Lashley, but he is defiantly going to be in the title picture soon!
