If the Miz somehow beat Edge and won the World Heavyweight Champion, he'd have to release it on account of injury as everybody would be gunning for him for one good main reason. The World Heavyweight Championship or any championship for that matter should not be around the waist of a dimwitted idiot like The Miz.

Plus, Teddy Long is not stupid enough and neither are the Board of Directors to put The Miz in the situation to win the title. He would make Kane's title reign look like an era as he would have the shortest title reign of all time.
